Is this really all-inclusive? What will I actually need to spend money on once I arrive? Once you're in Cleveland, your wallet stays in your pocket. Hotel, every meal, every drink including alcohol, all ground transportation, the venue, the equipment, the session components, your personal practice tool, consumables — all of it is covered. The only things you're responsible for are getting yourself to Cleveland and bringing the personal items listed in your registration packet.
I've never done anything like this before. Is that okay? Not only is it okay — it's expected. Experience levels in the room will range from first-timers to deeply practiced. Every session is facilitated. Every tool gets a full orientation before anyone uses it. You will never be thrown into something cold. Come curious. That's enough.
I'm coming solo. Will I feel out of place? Most men who attend CFMW come alone. The group is capped at 10 for exactly this reason — it's small enough that nobody disappears into the crowd, and intentional enough that real connection happens fast. You'll arrive as a stranger. That changes quickly.
What is Dean Rufus House of Fun and why are we going there? It's one of Cleveland's most destinations and a beloved institution in the community. We visit as a group Friday evening — already gathered, already settled into the weekend. Think of it as Cleveland's opening ceremony. If you've been before, you already know. If you haven't, you're in for a genuine Cleveland experience.
What are the community agreements and how seriously are they enforced? Completely seriously. Safewords are honored at all times without question. Facilitators are on the floor during every session. Consent check-ins are built into the flow of the weekend — not just mentioned at orientation and forgotten. Hard limits are respected without negotiation. Any violation of community agreements results in immediate removal from the event without refund.
What is the personal practice tool and what am I expected to do with it? Every participant receives a Lovense Hush 2 at Friday's welcome gathering. It's app-controlled, Bluetooth-connected, and designed to be worn and integrated throughout the weekend's sessions. Full instructions and pairing support are provided at the gathering. It goes home with you at the end of the weekend — it's yours.
Is Cleveland safe? Why Cleveland? Cleveland's downtown is vibrant, walkable, and well-resourced — and it happens to be home to some genuinely legendary community spaces that make this weekend possible. The hotel is centrally located. All group outings are coordinated and transported. You are never navigating the city alone unless you choose to. Cleveland was chosen deliberately, and it delivers.
What if my plans change and I need to cancel? The $250 deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances — it holds your spot and covers early event costs. Cancellations before June 1, 2026 receive a refund of all payments beyond the deposit. Cancellations between June 1 and July 1 forfeit 50% of total paid. Cancellations after July 1 receive no refund. Spot transfers to another approved applicant may be considered at host discretion. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
How does the sliding scale pricing work? One flat rate applies to every man in the room — no tiers, no conditions. The rate is determined by total confirmed headcount when registration closes. Four men locks in at $1,259 per person. Ten men drops it to $1,115. If you want the best rate, spread the word. Everyone benefits when the room fills.
What should I bring? Your registration packet includes a full packing list. The short version: get yourself to Cleveland, bring compatible personal accessories per the specs we send you, pack whatever you plan to wear, bring personal care supplies appropriate for an immersive weekend, and bring your optional commitment practice equipment if that's part of your plan. Everything else is waiting for you when you arrive.
